Owner & Director

Aidan has over 20 years of experience in the accounting profession providing tax and accounting services to a range of clients including family owned businesses, private and listed companies, self-managed superannuation funds, trusts and high net worth individuals.

Aidan is passionate about client service and his goal is to assist clients find solutions to their accounting, IT and tax needs.

Aidan is an active member of the Berowra Rural Fire Brigade and a football referee with Ku-ring-gai & District Football Referees Association. Aidan is treasurer of Berowra Rural Fire Brigade, Berowra Football Club and Sacred Heart Pymble Football Club.

Accountant

Katarina began her professional career with EY in auditing and business services. While there, she completed her Bachelor of Economics and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Katarina worked as a commercial accountant in the banking sector, a recruitment firm and in the technology industry.

Katarina joined Horne Merrell Sieff in 2007 and is a valued member of the tax team.

Outside of work Katarina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going for walks and solving word and number puzzles.

Practice Administrator

Jane commenced with the firm in April 2012 as Practice Administrator and worked closely with David Sieff (former owner) up until his retirement in February 2023.

Jane has an in depth knowledge of the clients and has good rapport with clients.

Besides assisting Aidan, Jane is responsible for liaising with the Australian Tax Office and Australian Securities & Investments Commission.

Jane loves to cook, be with family and friends and watch sport in her spare time.

Accountant

Kathleen has worked in the auditing and accounting profession in varying capacities for more than 20 years. Kathleen completed her training with PWC and worked as a transaction maintenance manager for an investment bank in South Africa for three years before becoming a partner in a successful Chartered Accountancy firm in South Africa. In 2014 the firm was sold, and she emigrated to Sydney, Australia with her partner, Aidan Smith, and three young children.

Kathleen worked at a Chartered Accountancy Practice in Sydney for 9 years acquiring local experience before joining Horne Merrell Sieff Pty Ltd in November 2022.

Kathleen loves walking in the bush and supporting her children’s sporting activities.

Supervisor

Ruvini has been with the firm for more than 15 years and is a valued member of the team because of her attention to detail and tax expertise. In her role as a supervisor she has an in depth knowledge of the clients and is focused on client service.

Ruvini loves hiking in the bush and listening to music.
